Floating Nurse Practitioner

Job Description

Provides general medical care and treatment to patients in physician office under direction of Physician, by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical problems and health care needs
• Records physical findings, and formulates plan and prognosis based on patient’s condition
• Prepares a comprehensive patient care plan
• Periodically reviews the health care plan and goals of individual patients
• Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy or inhalation therapy
• Refers patients to specialist for treatment
• Complies with ACRMC Code of Conduct

Requirements

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Nursing. 
• Two years of experience preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in the State of Ohio. 
• Current BLS required.
