A Rehabilitation Swing Bed Program is a short-term rehabilitation hospital. Patients can be admitted for physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, activity therapy, IV antibiotics, and 24-hour skilled nursing care. Patients may be eligible for skilled care after a 3-day hospital stay. Patients’ rehabilitation can last anywhere from a day to a month within this program. 

Adams County Regional Medical Center Transitional Care / Swing Bed Program provides a compassionate and skilled team of professional physicians, therapists, and nurses who work closely with our patients to develop an individualized treatment place that will aid in relieving pain, increasing strength, and restoring mobility, and improving body function. It is the goal of the Transitional Care / Swing bed Program to assist the patient in achieving the highest level of an independent lifestyle.   

Adams County Regional Medical Center Rehabilitation Swing Bed Program is a certified agency under the Medicare Program and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. We accept Medicare, Medicare HMO’s and most major insurances. (Please note we are not Medicaid certified.)  

Your medical provider can make a referral to Adams County Regional Medical Center Transitional Care / Swing Bed program for your care.
